In collaboration with MINES Paris, METEO FRANCE, Université de La Réunion and Université Grenoble-Alpes, LMD is a partner in a new ANR project called Fine4Cast. The objective is to obtain better forecasts of renewable energy production and electrical consumption adapted to future microgrids. The LMD’s expertise in forecasting PV resources using satellite images will be essential to provide a better anticipation of the variability of this energy in synergy with new high-resolution meteorological models.
